Word for the month of December 2024

Let first use this time to thank God on your behalf for His faithfulness and how He has brought us this far.

Matthew 28:20 NLT

Teach these new disciples to obey all the

commands I have given you. And be sure of this:

I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

According to the record of Matthew this was that last words and emphasis that our Lord made before He left.

Many a time the physical calendar that we follow prone us to be weary and doubtful of what God has told us, forgetting that He doesn't follow our calendar.

You need to be sure of the word of God about your life and circumstances or else the line up of event in our world and around you will question the validity of God’s promise in your life.

The fact that there were economic crises does not change whatever He said earlier about your finances and blessings.

The fact that there are challenges that will face us while following Christ or doing His will must not rob us of the understanding of what Jesus was saying in this verse of the scripture.

Jesus said, “be sure of this.”

It suggests to me that there will be days when they will feel lonely, when they will feel abandoned, when they will feel forsaken, when it appears their call for help is not answered

When it appears, the heavens are closed

When it appears, the time has gone

And so, He said to them, I am always with you!

All these are bound to happen but one thing that we should be sure in our hearts is that He is always with us and none of His words will go unfulfilled.

So, I need to remind you be sure of this, verily, verily, the Lord is Emmanuel, He is with you. In the Den of lion, He is the fourth man in the your fiery furnace, He walks with you in the water, He walks with you passing through fire, He is with you since January and He is with you through this new month until the new year.

Therefore, make a list of things that you need to be sure of regardless of what happens. Some of which include:

- Peace have I given unto you not as the world gives

- In the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheerful I have over the world

- No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper

- I am the Lord that heals you

- Greater works than I do you will do

- In you shall the families of the earth be blessed

- I have given you power to tread upon Scorpions and serpent, nothing evil will harm you

- This land I will give to you and your descendants

- I am willing to heal you, and I will

- Be of good courage, have I not sent you?

- Stand up and walk
